0caba6672d Call postblit on a struct when appending it to an array. Use _d_arraycatnT to concatenate multiple arrays.
Before, _d_arraycatT was used to concatenate multiple arrays. That caused an issue when postblit
was called on a struct multiple times. The next code asserted due to the issue:

1fac40d2bd Update to work with LLVM 2.7.
Removed use of dyn_cast, llvm no compiles
without exceptions and rtti by
default. We do need exceptions for the libconfig stuff, but rtti isn't
necessary (anymore).

Debug info needs to be rewritten, as in LLVM 2.7 the format has
completely changed. To have something to look at while rewriting, the
old code has been wrapped inside #ifndef DISABLE_DEBUG_INFO , this means
that you have to define this to compile at the moment.

Updated tango 0.99.9 patch to include updated EH runtime code, which is
needed for LLVM 2.7 as well.

f13c5e82f5 Added a stripModifiers() function to remove shared|const|immutable storage classes in D2 (should eventually be moved to a dhelpers file rather than llvm helpers).
Replaced a few occurances of STCinvariant with STCimmutable.

1958e17734 Rewrite StructLiteralExp::toElem to store individual fields instead of
generating a constant to fill the entire struct with a single `store`.
This is much more efficient at compile time (fixing #320) and vastly reduces
the size of the emitted code. Since LLVM no longer needs to keep the data for
all fields in "registers" until the store happens, it should also be more
efficient at run time in cases where the fields aren't assigned with constants.

There's also some code clean-up by removing duplicated logic.

b147ecc66d Initial (but disabled) fix for ticket #294 , the actual part that fixes the bug is in a #if 0 block as I'm afraid it will cause regressions. I'm most likely not going to be around tonight, and maybe not tomorrow as well, so I'm pushing it in case someone wants to run some serious testing/investigate the problem noted in llvmhelpers.cpp : realignOffset . 2009-05-14 17:20:17 +02:00

95b94935ee Moved special casing of 'assert(this, "null this");' generated statements from !ThisExp into !AssertExp.

3f49ddb6d5 Fix nested references to 'ref' foreach variables.
These "walk around" the array being iterated over, so they're a bit trickier
than other variables to get right.

dc5944df99 Implemented proper support for naked asm using llvm module level asm. Still not 100% complete, but already 1000 times better that what we had before. Don's BignumX86 implementation from Tango (when turned into a standalone unittest) seems to fully work with no changes, and great performance :)
Fixed align N; in asm blocks.

Fixed inreg parameter passing on x86 for ref/out params.

Removed support for lazy initialization of function local static variables, I have no idea why I ever implemented this, it's not in the D spec, and DMD doesn't support it :P

Some of the global variable related changes might cause minor regressions, but they should be easily fixable.

f46f865375 Removed KDevelop3 project files, CMake can generate them just fine!
Fixed function literals in static initializers.
Changed alignment of delegates from 2*PTRSIZE to just PTRSIZE.
Changed errors to go to stderr instead of stdout.
Fairly major rewriting of struct/union/class handling, STILL A BIT BUGGY !!!

f7ea1da010 Removed TypeOpaque from DMD.
Changed runtime functions taking opaque[] to void[].
Implemented proper type painting, to avoid "resizing" array casts in runtime calls that previously took opaque[].
Implemented dynamic arrays as first class types, this implements proper ABI for these types on x86.
Added dwarf region end after call to assert function, fixes some problems with llvm not allowing this to be missing.
Reverted change to WithStatement from rev [704] it breaks MiniD, mini/with2.d needs to be fixed some other way...
Fixed tango bug 1339 in runtime, problem with _adReverseChar on invalid UTF-8.
Disabled .bc generation in the compiler runtime part, genobj.d triggers some llvm bug when using debug info. the .o seems to work fine.

43567aca3b Fixed a critical bug in the runtime, where _d_allocmemoryT would mark
the memory block as having pointers (for scanning) opposite of what it
should. So pointers would not be seen and freed. Should fix a bunch of
regressions with AAs.

9d7f16b967 Added pragma(llvmdc, "string") for misc per-module compiler configuration, currently "string" can only be "verbose" which forces -vv for module it appears in.
Reimplemented support for nested functions/class using a new approach.
Added error on taking address of intrinsic.
Fixed problems with the ->syntaxCopy of TypeFunction delegate exp.
Removed DtoDType and replaced all uses with ->toBasetype() instead.
Removed unused inplace stuff.
Fixed a bunch of issues in the runtime unittests, not complete yet.
Added mini tests.

daad516579 Removed the 'needsstorage' thing from Dsymbol. Arguments are not always given storage when applicable. This is not longer treat specially
in this regard. Code for accessing nested variables and contexts rewritten. Probably more. Fairly well tested.

905ca019dd Added type param to DVarValue as DMD sometimes overrides the type of the VarDeclaration.
Added support for align(1)/packed structs, other alignments are still ignored.
Fixed some problems with accessing lazy arguments.
